Air, road and sea freight to and from Germany — via Turkey hub. Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich. Turkish exports, German imports, both directions. Quote in 1 hour.
Express and standard air cargo between Istanbul (IST/SAW) and Frankfurt (FRA), Munich (MUC) or Hamburg (HAM). Fastest mode for time-sensitive, high-value or perishable shipments in both directions.
Direct TIR truck transport between Turkey and Germany via Bulgaria, Serbia and Austria. The primary freight mode on this corridor — reliable, cost-effective and door-to-door. FTL (full truckload) and LTL groupage both available.
FCL and LCL ocean freight between Turkish ports (Istanbul, Mersin, Izmir) and Hamburg or Bremen via the Mediterranean. Most cost-effective for large volumes. 20' and 40' containers, full or groupage.
Air freight is fastest at 2–3 days door-to-door (IST — FRA/MUC). Road freight is the most commonly used mode at 3–6 days depending on destination city — it offers a good balance of speed and cost. Sea freight via Hamburg takes 10–14 days and is most economical for large volumes.
TIR trucks travel from Istanbul via the TEM highway through Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary, then into Austria and Germany. Alternative routing via Greece–Italy–Austria is also used. Transit time to Munich is 3–5 days; to Hamburg or the Ruhr region, 4–6 days.
Turkey and the EU are in a Customs Union for industrial goods, meaning most manufactured products (machinery, textiles, automotive parts) can enter Germany without customs duties provided they meet rules of origin requirements. Agricultural products and some processed foods are outside the Customs Union and subject to standard EU tariffs. We advise on origin documentation and compliance before shipment.
Standard documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (sea) or airway bill (air) or CMR (road), and a movement certificate (EUR.1 or origin declaration) for preferential tariff treatment. Turkish exporters also need a customs export declaration. German importers may need EORI registration.
Yes. For road freight, LTL groupage consolidates your cargo with other shipments — ideal for 1–10 pallet loads where a full truck is not economical. For sea freight, LCL (less-than-container load) groups your cargo with others in a shared container. Both options are available on the Turkey–Germany corridor.
Yes. We work with licensed customs agents in Germany to manage import declarations, VAT, and any applicable duties. For exports from Germany to Turkey, we handle Turkish customs clearance in coordination with our local partners. We advise on HS codes and ensure documentation is complete before departure.
