General
About CANXANSA

What services does CANXANSA offer?

We provide international freight forwarding by air, sea and road. Services include FCL and LCL ocean freight, air cargo, FTL and LTL road freight (TIR), and door-to-door logistics coordination. Customs clearance is arranged through our licensed partner brokers at each country of origin and destination. We specialize in Turkey-Europe, Turkey-Middle East, and Asia-Turkey trade lanes.

Where is CANXANSA registered?

CANXANSA OU is registered in Tallinn, Estonia (EU). From this base, we coordinate freight operations across Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, and Asia.

Which countries and trade lanes do you cover?

We cover Turkey-Europe corridors (Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, UK, Poland, Belgium, Estonia), Turkey-Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq), and Asia-Turkey routes (China, India, Japan). We also handle the Baltic-Turkey corridor from our Tallinn headquarters.

Do you work with both importers and exporters?

Yes. We manage freight in both directions on all our trade lanes. Whether you are importing raw materials into Turkey or exporting finished goods to Europe or the Middle East, we handle the logistics end-to-end.

Quotes & Pricing
Rates and Quotations

How do I get a freight quote?

Request a quote through our website contact form, by emailing info@canxansa.com, or via WhatsApp. Provide your origin, destination, cargo type, weight and dimensions. We respond within 1 hour during business hours.

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL (Full Container Load) means you book an entire container exclusively for your cargo. LCL (Less than Container Load) means your cargo shares container space with other shipments. FCL is more cost-effective for large volumes (typically 15+ CBM), while LCL is ideal for smaller shipments.

What factors affect freight rates?

Key factors include origin and destination, transport mode (air, sea, road), cargo weight and dimensions, commodity type, season and market demand, fuel surcharges, and whether the shipment requires special handling such as temperature control or dangerous goods certification.

Are your quoted rates all-inclusive?

Our quotes clearly itemize all charges: freight, fuel surcharges, terminal handling, customs clearance fees, and delivery. There are no hidden fees. If any additional charges may apply (demurrage, storage), we flag them upfront so you can plan accordingly.

Shipping & Transit
Transit Times and Tracking

What are typical transit times from Turkey to Europe?

Sea freight from Turkey to Northern Europe takes 12-16 days port-to-port. Road freight (FTL) from Istanbul to Germany takes 4-5 days. Air freight from Istanbul to major European cities takes 1-2 days. Exact times depend on the specific origin-destination pair.

Can I track my shipment?

Yes. Once your shipment is booked, you receive a tracking reference and regular status updates. Your dedicated account manager provides proactive updates at each milestone: pickup, departure, customs clearance, and delivery.

Do you offer door-to-door service?

Yes. We arrange pickup from the origin warehouse, coordinate export and import customs through our licensed partner brokers, manage the international freight, and deliver to the final address. One point of contact throughout the entire process.

What happens if my shipment is delayed?

We monitor all shipments in real time. If a delay occurs due to weather, port congestion, or customs hold, we notify you immediately with the reason and revised ETA. Where possible, we offer alternative routing to minimize impact.

Customs & Documentation
Clearance and Paperwork

Does CANXANSA handle customs clearance?

Customs clearance is carried out by our licensed partner customs brokers at the relevant country of origin and destination. We coordinate the entire process — document preparation, HS code guidance, duty and tax estimates — and liaise with our brokers on your behalf, so you have a single point of contact throughout.

What documents do I need for international shipping?

Standard documents include a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (sea) or air waybill (air), and certificate of origin. Depending on the commodity and destination, you may need certificates of conformity, phytosanitary certificates, or dangerous goods declarations. We guide you through the process.

Do you handle dangerous goods (DG)?

Yes. We handle IMO-classified dangerous goods by sea and IATA-classified DG by air, provided proper documentation and packaging requirements are met. We advise on classification, labeling, and compliance before booking.

Can you handle oversized or project cargo?

Yes. For oversized or out-of-gauge cargo, we arrange flat-rack containers, open-top containers, or dedicated project cargo solutions. We handle route surveys, permits, and specialized equipment as needed.
